Ream National Park is 18 kilometres from downtown Sihanoukville, towards Phnom Penh to the park entrance. Boat trips on the river and through the mangrove channels, then into the Gulf of Thailand. The park offers walking tours of the mountain, safari tours of the smaller mammals and birds and waterfalls. Wat Ream, a Buddhist temple, is also worth a trip.
By the seaside, there are dozens of food stands, specializing in fresh seafood. Discover one of the attractions Sihanoukville Province has to offer: The 21000 ha large Ream National Park, consisting of 15000 ha land and 6000 ha marine habitats with 155 different species of birds. At Prek Toek Sap Ranger’s station, board a traditional wooden and glide along the river through mangroves until you reach Koh Kchong Fishing Village. Stop at Koh Sam Pouch Beach and enjoy a seafood BBQ at the sea. In the afternoon explore the surrounding nature before returning by boat to Prek Toek Sap Ranger’s Station. Return to hotel in Sihanoukville.
